Reserve Studies: Plugging Into the Process - Reserve studies are a foundational planning tool for Common Interest Communities, serving as a planning framework for their largest repair and replacement expenses over the years. They are also an important disclosure document for existing owners, and prospective buyers, leveling the playing field as they assess the financial health of competing properties in the marketplace. It is therefore critical that the information contained within them be based upon widely accepted standards, easily understandable, well-conceived, and communicated.
This class, presented at the start of the traditional budget season for CIC’s, will lay out a “6-STEP PROCESS” that you can plug into each year to achieve success in your reserve planning. Key strategies to effectively collaborate, communicate and disclose information with your community membership will be explored to facilitate the 6-step process.
Join two industry veterans with many years, and thousands of reserve studies between them, as they share key insights to help you quickly establish key objectives and strategies, as well as potential pitfalls.
Part of WSCAI's Board Members & Homeowners Series - This is the eighth webinar in the 2021 monthly series designed for board members and homeowners offered by WSCAI’s Education Committee.
