Piping systems are failing at an alarming rate across the country as our infrastructure ages. Often, properties rarely budget for maintenance projects “inside the walls,” resulting in surprises when it becomes necessary to fix catastrophic issues. However, with proper planning, problems can be identified, financing can be secured, and the situation can be rectified with minimal disruption before further damage occurs.
From the perspectives of an insurance professional and a water leak specialist, you will hear what it’s like to “live through a water loss disaster,” steps to take to make the claims process successful, and best practices for how to investigate the health of your plumbing system and prevent future water leaks.
